Play the video and read along... (I give key hypnosis tips with the book reviews)

As being a successful hypnotist for the past 10+ years in areas of hypnotherapy in a clinic setting, hypnosis on the stage in front of hundreds of people, hypnotizing people on major network television shows, teaching hypnosis on the radio, guiding teleconference calls of 3000+ people, having a recording deal producing hypnosis audios and mastering the art of self-hypnosis...

I can share with you a collection of books that will enable you to create real hypnotic results.

To successfully utilize hypnosis, you must be able to create hypnotic phenomenon. These books will teach you how, with yourself and with others.

1. Hypnotherapy by Dave Elman

One of the most regarded books of all time on the subject of hypnosis.

Dave Elman has one of the most effective inductions that is utilized by professional hypnotists all around the World. Personally I've used his methods with foolproof results of getting people to have their eyelids stuck shut with in seconds of the hypnotic process.

2. The How-To Book Of Hypnotism by Tom Silver and Ormond McGill

Best Book on Hypnosis - The How to Book of Hypnotism by Tom Silver and Ormond McGill
This how to book shows you exactly what to do to conduct hypnosis with one person or a group. Excellent content from 2 very experienced hypnotists.

I personally trained with the Author and have used his methods to conduct very powerful sessions, as well as perform jaw dropping inductions for crowds.

3. The Everything Self-Hypnosis Book: Learn to use your mental power to take control of your life (Everything (Self-Help)) by Rene A. Bastarache

Best Book on Hypnosis - The Everything Self-Hypnosis Book by Rene A Bastarache
This author I have trained with as well, he has a very comprehensive approach. Prior to doing hypnosis training with Rene I had limited experience with hypnotizing others.

Using the methods he shares I was able to hypnotize friends and strangers to the deepest degree, create a stage hypnosis show that became my profession and help others with hypnotherapy.

Read this book online for FREE on Google Books.

4. New Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz

Every hypnotist should have a basic understanding of taking control of the "servo mechanism" that we have been gifted with to use to our advantage.

Very practical methods for hypnosis and de-hypnosis. It's a classic.

5. Ronning Guide to Modern Stage Hypnosis by Geoffrey Ronning

A great guide to performing hypnosis on stage to a group of people. Geoff gives you his group inductions, deepeners and skits.

What I also really like about this book is that it has excerpts from this students that became successful and on their road to getting there.

6. Tom Silver's Advanced 21th Century Hypnosis Training DVD ~ Hypnosis Trainer Tom Silver

This is a course I have taken in person and the resource from where I got my winning group induction that is quick and effective.

The author has been on dozens of national television shows and was the first person to popularize hypnosis in Asia. Real hypnosis.

7. Self-Hypnosis: Its Theory, Technique and Application by Melvin Powers

I let my friend borrow this book and the craziest thing happened...

He read the first few pages, went through the first induction and fell into a trance. While he was in trance, an ex-girlfriend of his that recently passed away pulled him out of his body and on to an O.B.E (out of body) journey. Real methods.

8. Tricks of the Mind by Derren Brown

If you are searching hypnosis and you do not know who Derren Brown is, open up a new browser window and search him on youtube.

Derren is a genius and his hypnotic effects are completely astonishing.

9. Fun With Hypnosis: The Complete How-To Guide by Svengali

Being able to produce fun, hypnotic effects with people is really one of the biggest keys to success in hypnosis.

If you can stick someone's hand to the wall, you can help them stick to their diet and exercise. If you can make yourself disappear before your subject's eyes, you can do just about anything hypnotically.

10. Mind Control: How to Get Others to Do What You Want by William Horton Psy D

Although it may seem a bit manipulative, when your intentions are right when dealing with people these techniques allow someone to experience massive change or... extreme control.

Please use these techniques with good intentions.

Extra Tips on Learning Hypnosis:

*In these books you will find techniques on how to hypnotize yourself and others... the most important aspect is figuring out for yourself the best methods that work for you.

*Experience helps you most and it's fun to practice! Practicing proven methods like from the books above will enable you to get true hypnotic results from people you work with.

*If you can guide yourself into hypnosis... you can show someone else the way. Just as if you would direct a person in a town they'd never been in, street by street, turn by turn is how the hypnotic process can be induced. This is why I find self-hypnosis to be such an important part to any hypnotist's experience and training.

I know these resources will help as they have for me. When you decide to move forward and pickup one of these books, please leave your experiences in the comment section below!

New Creation: Music That Positively Programs the Subconscious Mind

Positive Programming Music
Is it so? Music that can subconsciously program your mind with positive affirmations? Yes.

Think about it... How often do you have a song that sticks into your head and plays over and over and over and OVER again repeating the lyrics and melody?

For most this answer is just about everyday. Unfortunately you've probably have / had a songs in your head that can actually be detrimental to your beliefs. I could name a few right now but I don't want to be influencing you in anyway less then positively.

Imagine actually having songs that have nothing but SUPER positive messages, affirmations and popular quotes in your music...

Something you may have thought of before perhaps? Well now it is here.

This is a project I've always wanted to work on, combining the aspects of hypnosis / self-improvement / subconscious reprogramming WITH high vibrational music...

... and to top it off, we've also embedded subliminal programming into the tracks to drive the concepts DEEP into your being at record speed.

Watch the short sample clip:

A complete list of all the subliminal programming is on the website where this track can be located.

Utilize this tool to help you live a more positive, powerful life in one of the easiest ways possible. Truly amazing.

Go to:
www.PositiveInspirationalMusic.com

The quotes and affirmations of the song were inspired from the "Positive Inspirational Quotes" facebook page where there is (currently as this is being written) over 439,000 "likes" on the page and growing by 100's and even 1000's of people per day.

When creating this entire track (which is just over 5 minutes long) I used some of the most popular quotes on the page such as this one that you hear in the sample clip above:

I encourage you to go to their page and "like" it! Go ahead, saturate your facebook feed with positivity!

Daddy Man Hypnotized Over the Phone: Captured On Radio and Video

In the event of Father's Day I share with you another hypnosis telephone session I conducted on "The Attitude Shift" Radio Show with none other than Mr. Daddy Man himself! If you have the burning interest to hear some or all of the session, 7 parts of the video are below.

On a previous appearance on the show I hypnotized Daddy Man's wife Donna.

In the first part of this show Donna explains her experience of her hypnosis session saying, "... I had one of the best nights of sleep... I slept peaceful and woke up very excited about the day..." Normally no matter how much sleep she gets she has to drag herself out of bed every morning.

Even though we worked on enhancing other qualities about herself, this was one of the natural occurring side-effects that happens in a hypnosis session.

Watch to see what happens with Daddy Man!

The full radio broadcast is below the videos.

The complete radio show broadcast:

Listen to internet radio with The Attitude Shift on Blog Talk Radio

Funny, after the show seeing the video I had no idea he was in his getup!

Thank you Donna, Siobhan and Daddy Man for having me on the show to demonstrate hypnosis to others and for me to help you with your mind set.

You can find The Attitude Shift on Facebook and friend them so you too can shift your attitude!

Donna Hypnotized Over the Phone: Captured On Radio and Video

Many people ask me if it's possible for me to do a hypnosis session for them over the phone. So I decided to let you ease-drop in this session for to watch for yourself...

Watch as Donna experiences her eyelids stuck shut and cannot bend her arm after the hypnotic induction.

These are not only great ways to demonstrate the hypnosis process that is occurring to those whom are watching, it also allows the person experiencing hypnosis witness a new belief in their subconscious over power any conscious effort given to resist it.

This clip below is the first 10 minutes of a 30+ minute session. The entire show is below where we talk more on the subject before she is induced into trance.

The full session is on the radio show broadcast:

Listen to internet radio with The Attitude Shift on Blog Talk Radio

The session continues where Donna was able to experience "name amnesia," (she couldn't remember her name) although this was after the allotment of time on the radio show and video.

On a show 2 months preceding this one I also gave the hypnotic experience to her husband Daddy Man to help him with imbed the of philosophy Earl Nightingale and Bob Proctor at a subconscious level.

Can You Go into Hypnosis While Reading?

Many have asked, some have received the answer, though few have had the experience to test and see what it would be like to go into hypnosis while reading.

This reminds me of a time in the beginning of my exposure to the changing in states of consciousness through self-hypnosis and meditation.

There was a bundle of free books in a warehouse my band had a practice space in and with curiosity I rummaged through them. To my delight I found a few on self-hypnosis, and in that moment, the memory came to me when when I was 12 when I decided I was going to "Master My Mind." I knew this was it, this was a key to that taking place!

At this point I've never see or heard of hypnosis besides the typical over dramatized versions of it that uneducated storywriters and producers in hollywood come up with. That didn't sway me the least being my curiosity on the subject overruled any possible misconceptions I may have had.

So with the 3 books in hand, one of them really resonated with me that I became an apprentice to and seemed to never leave my pocket, the second got lost and the third ended up being given to my friend Gregg that had some interest.

He brought the book (this actual book) home and read the first couple chapters which outlined an introduction into self-hypnosis and had an induction (method of inducing trance) to practice. While he read the induction script he actually went into a trance, had no awareness of the book and had an outer body experience without even having the intention of the experience happening, he was just reading along.

Though this is an extreme case but perhaps you can tell from your own experience how you can be effected by what you are reading on conscious and subconscious levels.

Like if you were to be reading a book or text you are very interested in and the information and story is so fascinating because you're enjoying it immensely. I'm sure you know what this feels like, those really easy to read articles or stories. While reading, you reach a portion that informs you that - on the exhale of your breath is when you can start to feel relaxation set into your body, because physically the natural falling of your shoulders with the exhale can easily be noticed by feeling the weight of your body easily letting this feeling into your body.

By noticing how much your shoulders can fall with each exhale that passes through your awareness, and perhaps with your attention on the breath you can experiment with a slightly larger breath to test and see if you do get these relaxing feelings and see where you would feel them first. Would you start to feel a slight difference or continue to feel the same quality of relaxation that is currently running through your body? The other muscles that know how to share this same feeling that are closely connected to the softening shoulders that are dropping with each breath, like the neck, arms and upper back, would probably enhance the feeling of relief and relaxation on a larger scale if you were to allow and notice those sensations to expand.

It's when you realize your concentration is improving as you connect with this focused state that you find out it is actually you that is allowing yourself to be guided into this change of consciousness. You are letting the breath bring you there, by letting go on the exhales, knowing - these words work as well as you are able to let them... bring you there now.

Some people could read this as unexperienced knowledge or you as the reader, would follow along to allow this process to naturally unfold, to have the experience of letting go, because it's a pure fact that is scientifically proven, even by taking 3 slow, deep inhales of the breath lowers the conscious activity in the brain to activate whole brain learning, decreased stress and heighten a better sense of well being.

See if by taking 3 slow, deep breaths right now slightly changes how you feel as you continue to read along... and one can really notice the weight of the shoulders drop now with the exhale... and even a slight bobbling of the head as it naturally would want to fall forward or back, or side to side... those same heavy feelings would really start to be noticed all throughout the body like the arms and legs giving away. Don't forget about the breath and how slow, deep and rhythmic you can guide it to be, because every exhale just brings you down, slower and lower... letting gravity pull every part of the body down... letting that drowsy feeling to step in... even in your eyelids pulling down... when you imagine it, you can have it... and when you imagine feeling drowsy as if you stayed up till 3 in the morning, staring at the computer screen, with heavy eyes, you would naturally notice those feelings now or in a few moments from thinking of them.

And that moment that you really feel the urge to completely let go, rest and indulge in this feeling fully, you would let those eyes close like heavy curtains on a window, notice the trance you've stepped into and feel the rhythmic pattern of the breath as you descend downward as if you sat in an elevator, taking you all the way to the bottom.... now.

Check your Trance

Has your mood, your level of relaxation shifted since first reading this post? Any major or slight bodily sensations occur?

If so, to any degree that you noticed any changes, it was a level of hypnosis happening through your imagination influencing your thoughts and / or body to a deeper degree then normal waking consciousness. Reading does this naturally as it accesses the imagination in a completely unique way.

It's interesting while reading actual books on hypnosis how the inductions and tips on hypnosis really sink in deeper and in a different way than when hearing audibly or watching on video.
